Madison Indoor Activities

Let’s face it, Madison is pretty great! Between the bike paths, amazing restaurants, and seemingly endless supply of activities, our city is an awesome place to live – no question. However, these long winter months can really drag on and our love can start to dwindle. This winter, instead of living for the beautiful spring weather Madison will undoubtedly bring our way, embrace all Madison has to offer with this list of some of our favorite Indoor Family Activities.

Crawdaddy Cove
Want to get your swim on but aren’t up for the trek to Wisconsin Dells? Check out Crawdaddy Cove! This indoor water park, located in the Holiday Inn Hotel, has day passes available and is a perfect place to spend the day swimming and playing as a family!

Of particular interest is their open play hours on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday mornings. Bring your kids, 6 and under, and let them run and play in this amazing space.

Legacy Academy
Legacy Academy is yet another great Madison indoor activity space! Run, jump, climb, flip, and swing in the nearly 8,000 square feet of play space Legacy has to offer. Open play hours are daily for kids up to 12 years old.

Go Ninja
If your kids have ever gotten excited about American Ninja Warrior, this Madison indoor activity is for you! An American Ninja Warrior inspired obstacle course geared towards kids makes this place a win-win for parents and kids! While they do have open play hours, you need to reserve a spot ahead of time. They aim to keep the gym to 20 kids at a time so each child has plenty of safe opportunities to try out each obstacle. Check out their website to reserve your time slot.

Madison Swim Academy Or Diventures
We know those littles love to splish and splash but with snow on the ground, the bathtub is getting a workout! Save your bathroom floor and take them to Diventures (formerly Madison Swim Academy) for open swim. With Family swim hours ranging in times from Monday through Saturday, there are plenty of opportunities to spalsh and swim until their hearts’ content!
