September 15-October 28 | Enchanted Valley Acres | Cross Plains
Looking for a classic Madison fall event?  Pick out the perfect pumpkin, find your way through the corn maze, and eat all things fall at Enchanted Valley Acres in Cross Plains.

September 29 | Schuster’s Farm 25th Anniversary Celebration | Deerfield
Schuster’s Farm is celebrating 25 years of fall fun this year with a special event featuring fireworks and extended hours.  Visit anytime from September 22nd – October 31 for tons of activities. From the pumpkin patch to the haunted forest, Schuster’s has it all!

September 29-October 28 | Eugster’s Fall Weekends | Stoughton
Embrace all fall has to offer at yet another amazing Madison fall event.  Pick apples, pet farm animals, or take a hayride this year at Eugster’s farm.

October 5 | Verona Fall Fest | Hometown USA Festival Park
Head to Verona this fall for a festival in the park.  Listen to live music, sip a Hop Haus Beer, and watch as the kids bob for apples.  Fun for the whole family!

October 6-7 | Fall Heritage Fest | Mount Horeb
A true Norwegian celebration, visit Mount Horeb’s Fall Heritage Fest and browse work from local artists, grab some of the summer’s last fresh vegatables at the farmer’s market, or take the kids on a buggy ride through downtown. See you out there!

October 13 | Hilldale Harvest Party | Hilldale Shopping Center
A prefect Madison fall event for kids and grown ups alike, take a stroll through the renovated Hilldale Shopping Center this fall at their Hilldale Harvest Party.  Stop in at the farmer’s market, let the kids get their face painted, and enjoy samples from some of the amazing shops and restaurants Hilldale has to offer.

October 13 | Oak Bank Great Pumpkin Giveaway | Fitchburg
Come pick up your pumpkins at this year’s 18th Annual Oak Bank Great Pumpkin Giveaway.  Take part in many different kids activities or meet your favorite mascot. Plus, enjoy refreshments while the kids bounce the afternoon away in the inflatable bouncer!

October 14 | Trick or Trot 5K Run/Walk | Franklin Elementary School
Enjoy this one of a kind family race, a perfect addition to this year’s Madison fall event schedule!  The Trick or Trot 5K features a fun run for the kids as well as 3 trick-or-treat stations along the route.  Bring the kids, bring the dog, and enjoy a fun family activity this fall.

October 18-20 | UW Homecoming | Downtown Madison
Whether you’re a proud UW Madison alumni or just an avid Badger fan, UW Homecoming weekend is a great way to celebrate all things Madison. Eat up at the Friday Night Fish Fry, take in the Homecoming Parade, or show your red and white at the Homecoming Block Party. Finish the weekend with a Badger win as they take on Illinois at Camp Randall.

October 20 | Haunted Hustle | KEVA Sports Center
Looking for even more Madison fall events?  Check out the Haunted Hustle. Take part in one of several races including the kids fun run, the 5K or 5K Stroller Derby, or show your stamina in the 10K or Half Marathon.  Plus, new this year complete the Spooky Duo by running the 5K on Saturday and either the 10K or Half Marathon on Sunday.

October 24 | Downtown Madison Family Halloween | Capitol Square
Celebrate Halloween with your family at this fun Madison fall event.  Trick or treat at over 75 participating businesses or take in a special Kids in the Rotunda show at the Overture Center.  As if this wasn’t enough, take a hayride around Capitol Square, make some crafts, hear a spooky story, and sing some Halloween songs at this year’s event.

October 25-28 | 2018 World Clydesdale Show | Alliant Energy Center & Regent St.
If you’ve never seen a Clydesdale Horse Show, now is your chance!  These huge and beautiful animals will be in Madison demonstrating their skills at this year’s World Clydesdale Show.  Watch the horses compete in several different events inside the Alliant Energy Center or see the world famous Budweiser Clydesdales as they deliver Budweisers to bars on Regent St. from 6:00-9:30 PM on October 24th.

October 26 | Fall Fest | Aldo Leopold Nature Center
For the nature lovers, this Halloween celebration is a can’t miss Madison fall event.  Conduct science experiments, hike the torch lit trails, roast marshmallows, and see real live nocturnal creatures at this year’s Fall Fest at Aldo Leopold Nature Center.

October 26 | Bourbon & Bones | Edgewater Hotel
A new Madison fall event, Bourbon and Bones is sure to delight the foodies among us.  Break out that tried and true Halloween costume and head to the amazing Edgewater Hotel this fall to sample some delicious bourbon.  Plus try out some Halloween-themed food and listen to local live band, Wheelhouse.

October 27 | Freakfest | Capitol Square
Looking for the grown up version of a Halloween celebration?  This Madison fall event is your ticket! This Halloween music festival features several different bands on 3 different stages.  Whip up your most creative Halloween costume, grab some food on State St. and enjoy this live music event!

October 27 | Halloween at the Farm | Schumacher Farm Park
Bring the family to the farm this Halloween for a fun outdoor celebration.  Meet your favorite characters, roast s’mores over the campfire, or take a spooky hayride.  Whatever you choose to do at Schumacher Farm, you’re sure to have fun at this Madison fall event

November 11|  Madison Marathon | Capitol Square
A traditional Madison fall event, the Madison Marathon allows you to run through some of Madison’s most iconic areas of the city.  Don’t want to run? No problem! Cheer these amazing athletes on from the sidelines of this gorgeous route around our beautiful city.

November 22 | Berbee Derby | Fitchburg
Before you enjoy that amazing Thanksgiving meal, get out and run the annual Berbee Derby.  Take part in this rich Madison tradition to start your holiday season off on the right foot.

November 22 | Festival Foods Turkey Trot | Breese Stevens Field
Wrap up your Madison fall event schedule with another opportunity to embrace a guilt-free Thanksgiving dinner, the Festival Foods Turkey Trot is a fun way to start off this special day.  Choose from a couple of different races, including a 2-mile dog jog!
